I’m a writer and book fanatic, with an interest in literary fiction.  I’ve had one novel, one short story and various articles published, and am currently working on further writing projects.  Check out some of my pages to find out more about my publications, read reviews and extracts, and find out more about my writing.

I am currently writing: one short story and one book review for a couple of writing opportunities that have come up, as well as creating a very important children’s book for a special little girl.  Three June deadlines – better get cracking.
I am currently reading: just finished The Other Hand by Chris Cleave (fantastic!) and am now on to One Day by David Nicholls, whose previous two books I really loved.

I am currently writing: an article on travelling with a toddler – how to be prepared for the challenge!
I am currently reading: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.  A well-crafted tale but sometimes too transparent.  Improves as you get further in and the pressures of war intensify.  I’m looking forward to following the author’s lead to its conclusion.
